Battle Report

A modest round for a SPG, but, actually my best round since acquiring this "Big Gun on Wheels".
(Crew training up to 90%)


Actually putting some hurt with some 1 shot 1,000pts damages on 1,500pts tanks, AMAZING!!!!
They don't seem to be as aggressive after a hit like that <<<<< Sarcasm

notice in the above screenie, i only fired 10 rounds. 1 shot bounced but 8 were penetration shots. That's pretty goddamn good considering it was a Tier 9 battle.

Damage= more money and more points

No kills here but still made 28K credits

Only 3 kills but 42k credits and this was a losing round, woulda been upwards of 60K had we won the round

Love the ranks of your crew. E-7 is the lowest. Normally an E-7 is in charge of a platoon, not a lowly driver or radio operator.

I got me that little SPG too and i have to say it's fun to play with it!

Moving up in tiers. Puts the UGH in UGLY. Slow and not very many kills.
Today finally got in a good round on a Tier 5 SPG. Experience(not the 5x special either), Money, and Kills. And a Mastery Badge to boot.!!!!
Does that mean I am part of the Top 1%?

I see you have the extinguisher on the M41.

Been playing SPGs 95% of the time since being active and never use it. You either survive the hit or blow.

I swapped it out for 100-Octane in the M41. It cost 5,000 a round but you will see a definite difference in performance(Acceleration, Maneuverability, Horsepower, Tank Rotation Speed).

And with the m41 being a money maker, with a premium account, I can afford the cost.

I believe it has saved my butt a few times, by either being able to run to friendly tanks for cover or being able to rotate quickly enough to take out those pesky light tanks that do a suicide run trying to get behind you to take you out.

I also have it on my T57, but with the $5,000 per round it breaks even, but it's a hot rod compared to a stock model.

Wait until you are in fights with the really big boys. Remember not to show them your ass end. You will lose quick that way in a Tiger.

So i bought another M7 Priest last night so we're going to give this arty thing a try one more time, just not sure i'm patient enough to be an arty kind of guy. I like to get out in the thick of the fight.

The M7 Priest with a fully trained crew,I believe, is the "Best" in the smaller SPGs.

Faster on the reloads, a finished focus area is 85% of the time inside the area of the tank you are firing at. And you need it, since it takes more than one shot to take the tanks you will be seeing down. The longer gun can reach from one end of the map to the other most of the time.

The battle rounds are much faster paced compared the M41 SPG battle rounds.


Only thing bad is you are still in the "noob Tiers" so keep an eye open for those Kamikaze light tanks. Your team is not experienced enough, and sometimes lets them through with out chasing them down. So watch your position on the map, to always keep the bulk of your teammates between you and the opposing force, but be far enough back you don't get spotted. And if you spot one that has broke through, you have one shot, make it count. Don't fire prematurely.

Also I found if I tell my teammates where I will be covering, since they are more new to the game, they will have a tendency to head in that direction. If you are playing with veteran players they might tell you where they are heading. Be ready and have your guns focused in that area long before they get there so you can pull the trigger just as soon as they spot the opfor.

Hippie you probably know more about this than I do, so this is written for those who might be less knowledgeable.
