| So I'm looking to buy my first handgun and after some looking around I came across the .22lr EAA Witness and kinda like it. Does it really use .22, .9mm, 10mm, .40 SW, and .45 ACP? or is that different versions that it comes in? Anyone heard of them before, own one? Any better choices out there? Also any comments on what I should be looking for in a first gun. I plan on using this mostly at the range to get proficient and comfortable with the gun and shooting in general, hence the .22 for its cheap ammo. Once I feel comfortable with the gun I also want to start open carrying it until i'm 21 and can get my concealed carry:) Any advice on that? Keep in mind that I haven't been around guns alot and am a little clueless in some areas so yea... | |

- Did anyone forget to mention the slide/caliber
interchangability of this gun? If you buy a witness in .40 or 10mm for example, you can get factory slides and mags chambered in .22lr, 9mm, .40s&w, 10mm auto, and .45 auto for the same gun. I've yet to shoot one but this is definitely a pistol I am keeping an eye out for. Can't really go wrong with the CZ-75 design and the fact that its chambered in 10mm is a big plus since your only other options in that caliber these days are a glock or a high end 1911. So does that mean all i have to do is buy the different slides and mags and i have a different caliber gun? for example I buy the .22lr and decide I want a 10mm instead I can just buy a 10mm slide and mag?

| Not worth the trouble, to do that really. To be able to convert like that, you'd have to be able to change the slide, barrel, magazine, recoil springs, barrel bushing, hammer and trigger springs. Additionally, most states really frown on people carrying a firearm unless at a firing range. Check with your local law enforcement departments, before you start packing hardware. | |

sound like i'd pretty much have to rebuild the entire gun:( as for the law enforcement issue, I live in Arizona so its not as frowned upon as many other states and it isn't uncommon to see people open carrying or even people with a ccw barley visible, and if it was frowned upon that would be all the more reason in my eyes to do so I have the right to carry that weapon and no one is going to tell me otherwise with out more firepower than me but seriously if someone is gunna tell me i cant carry a firearm they better have a damm good reason, and considering that the law banning weapons in DC was found unconstitutional I don't know of any such reason. - =[C]= MrCDub wrote:

Son, I'm sure you haven't seen pussy since birth, mainly due to you having a rodent sized penis which obviously means the best part of you either ran down your daddy's leg or your mommy's chin. hahhahahahahahaha, Love ya:)
