try a different download site. It happens. You just have to go through different ones until you get a good download of it. I had the same thing happen to me.

yay i got it downloaded, now i just gotta get it to go full screen. had this problem before with windows 7, but totally forgot what I did to fix it, so I might have to have my husband figure it out for me

Well I give up, the only way I think it is going to work is if I do a windows update, which I am avoiding. I am at my wits end. I guess this is a big problem with windows 7 and ati cards, because I found a lot of forums of mad people, with no answers LOL.

you need the newest drivers for your PC and/or laptop. Biggest problems I see with gfx cards and windows is usually caused by the user.

to get the game to go to fullscreen mode you might have to select it in the options and change the screen resolution as well, under game options.

yea sarah you need to go ahead and do them updates, if you want permanent full screen or window mode you set it in your game settings. make sure you also manually update the punkbuster through the americas army/system/pb folder

I've already updated all my drivers Ive updated punkbuster as well. This happened to me when i first installed the game before i started playing with you guys. There aren't any ways to do any scaling in the CCC version, which is how some people have fixed it in the past, or so Ive read. But my ccc doesn't have a scaling option, so I dunno what to do about that lol

I've checked in the game as well to make sure I didn't untick anything weird. All my resolutions are correct, and its frustrating lol.

Apparently there is a problem with windows 7 and newer laptop ati cards. Some nvidia people had problems with it but there's were easier to fix i guess.

I finally found the scaling thing i was looking for after finding some site somewhere. LOL catalyst is being sneaky.
