is there a way to check the temp of the core7 when it is running hard?

when i play c&c4 my rig runs hot.

do i need a better fan?

Hey Boss you could try out one of these "Laptop" Fans , that your laptop sits on.

One warning though Bosse, make sure you order the correct cooling pad, some draw the air down through ur PC, and some blow air through the PC, it should be doing the opposite of what ur onboard fans are doing. some fans draw air in from the bottom to cool the pc, but dell's for instance have vents on the top of the pc where the keyboard is and the fans draw air in through those vents and blow it back out the bottom. if your's draws from the top then the pad you order should pull that air through faster in order to help your fans cool.

ahh ha!

thanks hippie!

ps my four cores run about 60c (140f) each

and the load is about 20% each when running C&C4

when running AA there is hardly any temp change or load on the processers
